We’ve got an action-packed program planned for Kids’ Day at the Wakefield Market on June 7th! The ever popular Teddy Bear Clinic will be on site from 10am to 1pm to mend your broken stuffed animals; junior vendors will be flexing their entrepreneurial muscles; Emily Rudenberg’s ballet students will enchant us with their grace; an ultimate frisbee game will take over the soccer field starting at 11am; a bean bag toss and much more! Shop while you kids play!
It is also BIODIVERSITY DAY! Our local tree master Leilak Anderson will be handing out free seedlings of local tree species. He will also be sharing knowledge about planting & the importance of biodiversity in nature! Come get some free native saplings, courtesy of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Forests of Québec and the Global Forest Initiative.
Our annual Pottery days brings all the local potters together to sell their wares! Come see what all the talented Ceramic Artists of the Outaouais region have to offer!
